dying to be simple

We all wake up working to fulfill a few simple needs.....shelter, food, and most of all love. Has it ever really changed? There have been creatures for thousands of years who have done nothing but fight for shelter, food and love. The one constant is those things but the one variable is progression. We came from dust and now move digital. Could our lives now slow down and become simple? I truly think yes but my surroundings tell me NO! Who would be the crazy soccer moms? Who would be the stressed out potentially suicidal bankers? The General Stores wife? The town sheriff? What would it be like to force us now to sit down and watch the struggles of something Little? Something simple? Maybe the answer is not moving back but moving simple?
